While Oklahoma remains one of the strongest holdouts of bobwhite quail populations and habitat, wildlife professionals are proactively undertaking extensive efforts to understand and address the downward trend in quail populations. In the meantime, there is much that we do understand and that we can do today to positively benefit quail, particularly on our state’s private lands.
