2024 National Bobwhite and Grassland Initiative Technical Committee
Annual Meeting Registration is Open

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, our partners, and sponsors are pleased to host the 2024 NBGI-TC annual meeting in Tupelo, July 29 – August 2. Registration is now open, and information can be found at [INSERT APPROPRIATE LINK]. Early Bird Registration is $225 (ends July 6), Regular Registration is $275, and Student Registration is $150. Meeting registration includes several optional activities this year (please indicate intent to participate during registration). A Field Trip will be offered Monday morning to two sites in the Black Belt Prairie region where grassland conservation opportunities and challenges will be discussed. Monday afternoon, a Drone Workshop will be offered for available attendees that are not participating in the quail coordinators’ meeting (concurrent with coordinators’ meeting). Tuesday evening a visit to the local Queen’s Reward Meadery will be available. Finally, the option to shoot clays on Wednesday afternoon will be available during the networking session prior to evening the awards dinner. Refer to the meeting registration webpage and agenda for more details. Transportation to optional events will be provided.

A poster session will be available, and the submission period for poster abstracts is now open and closes on June 21. Please refer to the call for poster abstracts. Easels will be provided to display posters at the conference. Posters can be displayed on Monday, and authors may choose to be present with their posters at the beginning of the Welcome Reception on Monday evening and during the morning break on Tuesday.
