The National Wild Turkey Federation Landowner Field Day, targeting quail management, prescribed burning, thinning and herbicide use in planted pines, invasive plant species and federal and state incentive programs, is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 1 at the Dorchester Shooting Preserve in Midway, GA. Cost is $5 and pre-registration is encouraged. Pre-registration deadline is Feb.24 and there is a participant limit of 75.
