Bluegrass Army Depot Provides Thousands of Acres for Habitat Restoration

Native grassland restoration on the Bluegrass Army Depot in Kentucky is having and will continue to have far
reaching effects in preserving a highly significant and threatened ecosystem. The Blue Grass Army Depot is ranked 16th of 45 military installations in the Eastern US with potential to provide significant grassland habitat for grassland bird conservation (including quail).
