Georgia Schedules Quail Habitat Management Field Day

Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources has scheduled June 22 for a Quail Habitat Management Field Day at Di-Lane Wildlife Management Area. Topics to be covered include: quail habitat needs and management, quail habitat fragmentation, predator management, supplemental feeding, prescribed burning, managing pine stands for quail and dove field management. The field day will be conducted rain or shine and will include a tour of the demo area and presentations. Field attire is recommended. Lunch is being provided courtesy of Monsanto.
